Raghupur Fort: Where History Meets the Heights of Himalayan Adventure

Perched high in the Serolsar Valley of Himachal Pradesh, Raghupur Fort offers a fascinating mix of history and adventure. Although the fort itself is mostly in ruins, its commanding location at an altitude of about 11,000 feet makes it a sought-after destination for trekkers and history enthusiasts alike. 


The journey to Raghupur Fort starts from Jalori Pass, a stunning high-altitude gateway. The trek takes you through dense forests and sprawling meadows, revealing panoramic views of the Dhauladhar and Pir Panjal ranges. The fort’s mysterious ruins and its breathtaking vantage point provide a unique experience, blending ancient architecture with the raw beauty of the Himalayas.

Itinerary

Day 0: Departure to Jibhi
  • The group assembles at the pick-up point.
  • We'll meet the team captains and a small tour briefing session will be conducted.
  • After which, we’ll head out on an overnight journey to Jibhi.
Day 1: Day 1: Jibhi | Jibhi Waterfall & Mini Thailand
  • Reach in the morning.
  • Check-in at the stay. Relax for some time as you must be tired after a long journey.
  • By noon leave for Jibhi Waterfall & Mini Thailand. Spend some memorable time there. Enjoy the mesmerizing view of the valley and go for a riverside walk.
  • Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Jalori Pass | Serolsar Lake | Raghupur Fort
  • Wake up early have breakfast and leave for Jalori Pass.
  • Start your trek from Jalori pass to Serolsar lake (5KM trek).
  • Serolsar Lake is a tranquil spot surrounded by oak forests, and you can visit the nearby Budhi Nagin Temple.
  • Reach back to Jalori pass and Begin the trek from Jalori Pass to Raghupur Fort(2KM).
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Raghupur.
Day 3: Departure from Tirthan | Choiee waterfall
  • Wake up and have your breakfast. 
  • Trek down to Jalori pass and leave for the Tirthan Valley Choiee waterfall
    trek.
  • Later depart with lots of breathtaking views and everlasting memories of Tirthan Valley.
  • Drive towards Kullu and enjoy river rafting (if time allows).
  • Reach Delhi / Chandigarh the next day in the morning.

NOTE:   Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of participants etc. May cause itinerary change. We reserve the rights to change any schedule in the interest of safety, comfort and general wellbeing.

NOTE:   In case of a sudden snowfall, The Atal Tunnel can be shut by the authorities for traffic movement and in that case it won't be possible to travel to Sissu. In such a case, we will look to explore alternative sightseeing options as per feasibility.

NOTE:   The age limit of our group departures is 18 to 40 years due to the power packed itineraries that we provide to our travellers. We can customise trips for travellers beyond the mentioned age bracket.

Any expenses caused due to conditions beyond our control such as road blockage,road accidents, landslides (to be borne by the customer on the spot)
