Terms & Conditions Privacy Policy


These are the Terms and Conditions that will apply to your booking. Please read them carefully as they will bind you. These terms shall constitute the entire agreement between Ripeak Tripekart and the Client relating to the subject matter herein and shall constitute a binding agreement. There is no verbal or written; representation, warranty, prior agreement, or description of services, other than as expressed herein.


  • The photos/video content created on Ripeak Tripekart trip (by Ripeak Tripekart content creators) is the property of Ripeak Tripekart and can only be used by Ripeak Tripekart for advertising. across media platforms. None of the digital content can be used by anyone without obtaining the rightful permissions from Ripeak Tripekart.


  • Full Payment of the trip cost must be made before the trip begins. Pending Payments may eventually lead to the Cancellation of the trip and the booking amount will not be refundable.


  • The IDs shall all be verified before boarding. No boarding shall be entertained without a valid Govt. ID. The Transfer of the bookings is not permitted. Only the names mentioned at the time of confirmation shall be allowed to travel.


  • No refunds or discounts shall be made towards any inclusions which are not availed by the Client. This includes voluntary or involuntary termination/departure from the tour, i.e. sickness, death of a family member, etc, late arrival on the tour, or premature departure either voluntarily or involuntarily.


  • Travelers must take care of their luggage & belongings. The management shall not be accountable for missing items along the tour.


  • The time of Departure is stated & fixed. All travelers must update their status with the Trip coordinator(s), & report at the pickup point 45 minutes before the scheduled departure.


  • The Air Conditioning will be switched off in the hills. Also, during the trip, it shall be the Driver’s discretion to put off the AC as & when required, considering the traveler’s safety & ease of travel along uneven & dangerous routes. Our time of departure is fixed and must depart by the stated time & keep their status updated with the trip coordinator(s). Anyone missing the bus shall not be eligible for any refunds. We shall call you twice before the scheduled departure.


  • Drinking & Smoking are not suggested or recommended along the tour due to health & safety concerns. Our tours involve physically demanding activities such as trekking, and camping at high altitudes and we recommend that you be in the right shape to make the most of them.

  • No act of misconduct or indiscipline shall be tolerated on the tours. We are a friendly travel community and we aspire to bring you a hassle-free and memorable experience. 


  • Ripeak Tripekart shall not be responsible for any delays or alterations in the program or indirectly incurred expenses in cases such as Natural Hazards, accidents, breakdown of machinery, weather conditions, landslides, political closure, or any untoward incidents. We do not provide any insurance policy to cover the expenditure on sickness accidents or losses incurred due to theft or other reasons.


  • Numerous factors such as weather and road conditions, the physical ability of participants, etc. may bring alteration to the itinerary. We reserve the right to make necessary changes in the schedule in the interest of safety, comfort, and general well-being! 


  • All the Travellers are responsible for themselves, in case of an accident or loss of life while traveling, Ripeak Tripekart will not be responsible.


  • Ripeak Tripekart is trying to create a sustainable way of traveling hence you will be charged with a penalty of Rs.500 in case you have been found littering or disrupting the natural peace & harmony of the place during the trip.


  • Any kind of misbehavior with the trip coordinator, drivers, homestay\hotel owners, your co-travelers, or any other team person who is associated with Ripeak Tripekart will not be tolerated and your trip will be terminated from there onwards and if needed, Legal action will be taken against the client. Ripeak Tripekart reserves the right to cancel any trip for any reason, but will not cancel a tour before departure, except for Force Majeure, unusual or unforeseen circumstances outside Ripeak Tripekart Control. Ripeak Tripekart is not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses that the Client may have incurred as a result of the booking such as visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or rail, non-refundable car parking or other fees, loss of earnings, or loss of enjoyment, etc.


  • The price of the tours published may go up or down from the time of publication. Ripeak Tripekart recommends that the Client finds out the most up-to-date price of their tours including the costs of any other service provided by Ripeak Tripekart at the time of making their booking. After a Confirmation Invoice has been issued any increase to the tour price will be the result of changes in an increase in transportation costs, including the cost of fuel, dues, taxes, or fees chargeable for services such as landing taxes or embarkation or disembarkation fees at ports, railway and bus stations and airport charges, including any currency fluctuations. The prices in this brochure/website are based on rates and costs in effect at the time of printing the brochure or posting to the website. Ripeak Tripekart reserves the right to alter prices at any time prior to the tour being paid in full.

  • The Client understands and acknowledges the nature of this type of travel requires considerable flexibility and should allow for reasonable alterations by Ripeak Tripekart. It is understood that the route, schedules, itineraries, amenities, and mode of transport may be subject to alteration without prior notice due to local circumstances or events, which may include sickness or mechanical breakdown, flight cancellations, strikes, events emanating from political disputes, entry or border difficulties, extreme weather and other unpredictable or unforeseeable circumstances or any other reason whatsoever. Ripeak Tripekartunder any circumstances will not be liable for any arrangements, refunds, or compensation due to disruption or any modification in the itinerary (including but not limited to missed connecting flights, rail transport arrangements, taxi & other surface transportation) made directly made by you for reaching the trip start point or returning back from the drop point to your base location.

  • Ripeak Tripekart is not liable for independent contractors. The hill station carries onboard service providers who operate as independent contractors. Their services and products are chared as extras. Ripeak Tripekart is not responsible for its performance or products. These contractors may include doctors, medical personnel, hairdressers, manicurists, masseuses, photographers, entertainers, fitness instructors, spa personnel, beauticians, internet/I.T. personnel or other instructional concessionaires, art or other auctioneers, shopkeepers, taxi operators, and any third party providing services. These contractors work directly for the Client when performing their services. Ripeak Tripekart is not responsible for any such person's acts or omissions in providing goods or services to the Client.


  • Neither Ripeak Tripekart nor the Carrier owns or controls any such independent contractors,

makes no representation of any kind as to their performance, and does not undertake to

supervise their activities. Any Guest using such services or activities shall be deemed to

agree and consent that any liability for any death, personal injury, illness, emotional distress, mental suffering, or psychological injury to the guest or loss of or damage to property shall be the sole responsibility of the provider of such service or activity. Neither Ripeak Tripekart nor the Carrier shall be or become liable or responsible in any way for any act or omission of any such provider pertaining to, or arising from, or in connection with such services or activities.


  • In the event that any term or condition contained herein is unenforceable or void by operation of law or as being against public policy or for any other reason then such term or condition shall be deemed to be severed from this Agreement or amended accordingly only to such extent necessary to allow all remaining Terms and Conditions to survive and continue as binding.


  • At any time before or during the booking process, Ripeak Tripekart retains the right to refuse

service to any Client, for any reason whatsoever, outside of any discrimination or protected class reasons.


  • Ripeak Tripekart reserves the right to update and/or alter these terms and conditions at any time, and it is the Client’s responsibility to be familiar with them. The latest terms and conditions may be found on Ripeak Tripekart.





Refund Policy

In case of any refunds approved by RIPEAK TRIPEKART PRIVATE LIMITED, it will take 7 days for the refund to be Credited to you.


Privacy Policy



Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how RIPEAK TRIPEKART PRIVATE LIMITED and its affiliates (collectively "RIPEAK TRIPEKART PRIVATE LIMITED, we, our, us") collect, use, share, protect or otherwise process your information/ personal data through our website https://www.tripekart.com/ (hereinafter referred to as Platform). Please note that you may be able to browse certain sections of the Platform without registering with us.We do not offer any product/service under this Platform outside India and your personal data will primarily be stored and processed in India. By visiting this Platform, providing your information or availing any product/service offered on the Platform, you expressly agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy, the Terms of Use and the applicable service/product terms and conditions, and agree to be governed by the laws of India including but not limited to the laws applicable to data protection and privacy. If you do not agree please do not use or access our Platform.



Collection-We collect your personal data when you use our Platform, services or otherwise interact with us during the course of our relationship.and related information provided from time to time. Some of the information that we may collect includes but is not limited to personal data / information provided to us during sign-up/registering or using our Platform such as name, date of birth, address, telephone/mobile number, email IDand/or any such information shared as proof of identity or address. Some of the sensitive personal data may be collected with your consent, such as your bank account or credit or debit card or other payment instrument information or biometric information such as your facial features or physiological information (in order to enable use of certain features when opted for, available on the Platform) etc all of the above being in accordance with applicable law(s) You always have the option to not provide information, by choosing not to use a particular service or feature on the Platform. We may track your behaviour, preferences, and other information that you choose to provide on our Platform. This information is compiled and analysed on an aggregated basis. We will also collect your information related to your transactions on Platform and such third-party business partner platforms. When such a third-party business partner collects your personal data directly from you, you will be governed by their privacy policies. We shall not be responsible for the third-party business partner’s privacy practices or the content of their privacy policies, and we request you to read their privacy policies prior to disclosing any information. If you receive an email, a call from a person/association claiming to be RIPEAK TRIPEKART PRIVATE LIMITED seeking any personal data like debit/credit card PIN, net-banking or mobile banking password, we request you to never provide such information. If you have already revealed such information, report it immediately to an appropriate law enforcement agency.



Usage- We use personal data to provide the services you request. To the extent we use your personal data to market to you, we will provide you the ability to opt-out of such uses. We use your personal data to assist sellers and business partners in handling and fulfilling orders; enhancing customer experience; to resolve disputes; troubleshoot problems; inform you about online and offline offers, products, services, and updates; customise your experience; detect and protect us against error, fraud and other criminal activity; enforce our terms and conditions; conduct marketing research, analysis and surveys; and as otherwise described to you at the time of collection of information. You understand that your access to these products/services may be affected in the event permission is not provided to us.



Sharing- We may share your personal data internally within our group entities, our other corporate entities, and affiliates to provide you access to the services and products offered by them. These entities and affiliates may market to you as a result of such sharing unless you explicitly opt-out. We may disclose personal data to third parties such as sellers, business partners, third party service providers including logistics partners, prepaid payment instrument issuers, third-party reward programs and other payment opted by you. These disclosure may be required for us to provide you access to our services and products offered to you, to comply with our legal obligations, to enforce our user agreement, to facilitate our marketing and advertising activities, to prevent, detect, mitigate, and investigate fraudulent or illegal activities related to our services. We may disclose personal and sensitive personal data to government agencies or other authorised law enforcement agencies if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process. We may disclose personal data to law enforcement offices, third party rights owners, or others in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to: enforce our Terms of Use or Privacy Policy; respond to claims that an advertisement, posting or other content violates the rights of a third party; or protect the rights, property or personal safety of our users or the general public.



Security Precautions- To protect your personal data from unauthorised access or disclosure, loss or misuse we adopt reasonable security practices and procedures. Once your information is in our possession or whenever you access your account information, we adhere to our security guidelines to protect it against unauthorised access and offer the use of a secure server. However, the transmission of information is not completely secure for reasons beyond our control. By using the Platform, the users accept the security implications of data transmission over the internet and the World Wide Web which cannot always be guaranteed as completely secure, and therefore, there would always remain certain inherent risks regarding use of the Platform. Users are responsible for ensuring the protection of login and password records for their account.



Data Deletion and Retention- You have an option to delete your account by visiting your profile and settings on our Platform , this action would result in you losing all information related to your account. You may also write to us at the contact information provided below to assist you with these requests. We may in event of any pending grievance, claims, pending shipments or any other services we may refuse or delay deletion of the account. Once the account is deleted, you will lose access to the account. We retain your personal data information for a period no longer than is required for the purpose for which it was collected or as required under any applicable law. However, we may retain data related to you if we believe it may be necessary to prevent fraud or future abuse or for other legitimate purposes. We may continue to retain your data in anonymised form for analytical and research purposes.



Your Rights- You may access, rectify, and update your personal data directly through the functionalities provided on the Platform.



Consent- By visiting our Platform or by providing your information, you consent to the collection, use, storage, disclosure and otherwise processing of your information on the Platform in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you disclose to us any personal data relating to other people, you represent that you have the authority to do so and permit us to use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. You, while providing your personal data over the Platform or any partner platforms or establishments, consent to us (including our other corporate entities, affiliates, lending partners, technology partners, marketing channels, business partners and other third parties) to contact you through SMS, instant messaging apps, call and/or e-mail for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy. However, please note that your withdrawal of consent will not be retrospective and will be in accordance with the Terms of Use, this Privacy Policy, and applicable laws. In the event you withdraw consent given to us under this Privacy Policy, we reserve the right to restrict or deny the provision of our services for which we consider such information to be necessary.



Changes to this Privacy Policy- Please check our Privacy Policy periodically for changes. We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our information practices. We may alert / notify you about the significant changes to the Privacy Policy, in the manner as may be required under applicable laws.
